jefferis - January 13, 2018After a hot day cutting down trees this has enough citrus to cut the sweat but not so much as to be grapefruity. Balanced by notes of chocolate and a hint of coffee. Maybe a hint of cardamom?
Mapwhap - October 28, 2016I'm going to start this by saying I am NOT a brown ale fan. However, I wanted to give this one a try, as I'm always trying to expand my horizons. As far as a brown goes, it is fairly typical of the style. Low in hops, high in malt. Too sweet for my taste due to the malt, and the bitterness is more coffee-like than hoppy. So, in total, perhaps a good brown, but not a great beer.
