A. A ginger, lime stout. Very thick and balanced. Had a March 2015 in November of 2020 and it had a nasty bitterness from the lime and ginger. The body held up well, as did the stout base.

Does not have a strong stout taster. It's actually quite smooth.

Pours black w 3/4" cafe au lait head, which dissipates quickly and leaves very minimal lacing. A hint of spice aroma lets you know this isn't an "ordinary" stout. Mouthfeel is on the heavy side, and a it oily. This is a very nice stout with a bit of ginger bite. The lime is almost unnoticeable until it kicks in in the aftertaste, though it becomes a little more pronounced as the beer warms up. Everything considered, this is an enjoyable take on spiced stout.

This is actually being made at their new brewery in North Carolina. Ok stout that I wish didn't have the lime.
