Catfishbunter - March 21, 2015I'm not typically a fan of quads, but this is exceptional. If has a very strong aroma -- hard to pick out individual notes, but you get a strong smell of toasted malt, cherries, and plums. It has a clear, rich red tint with little to no head. It tastes slightly sour, just slightly, with a solid sweet aftertaste of the toffee and dark fruits. Tastes barrel aged, like a bourbon.
