A+. Bourbon and caramel aroma, aged flavor and heat builds, but not too hot.

Just too fucking hot.. Stone goes overboard on ingredients again.. Whether it's hops or peppers or some other shitty pungent ingredient it's done in excess.. Chile and pepper brews have been growing on me however this is too much and a disgrace to the genre, a half hour later my throat is still burning, no lie.. Not too mention a thick heavy bottle which is only a sneaky 16 oz.. Please I implore beer drinkers too avoid wasting money and taste buds on this ... I wish I could rate this zero stars.. .5 star rating. Contender for worst beer of all time had to actually dump it down the sink with other loyal craft beer brethren.. Blasphemous but necessary...

Not even drinkable! I've never encountered a beer I couldn't finish

I am drinking Punishment a few days after really enjoying Crime (part of the series). Like Crime, Punishment hits the fruitiness of the pepper along with the heat. However, the heat on this one is too lingering. Everyone knows the best thing with a spicy meal is a cold refreshing beer so I might just recommend having a nice cold lager to pair with Punishment cuz you're gonna want something cooling.

One if not the hardest beers to drink, I love spice but putting it in a beer is crazy.
