An excellent beer with a good mix of pumpkin and bourbon flavor. Very strong though so go easy on it.

Let warm up slightly -wow. Silky, complex, spice with nutmeg and cloves; potent bourbon finish. Nice

First pumpkin beer with really excellent flavor and the bourbon finish is fantastic!

Porter brewed with pumpkin and spices aged in bourbon barrels, part of Avery's annual barrel series
Dark mahogany in color with a razor thin khaki ring of head. Aromas of pumpkin and bourbon booze. Thick and viscous this has a great silky mouthfeel. Pumpkin and allspice clove and cinnamon spice flavors at the forward which opens up into a strong vanilla warming bourbon note. Finishes with a dry bitterness and alcohol. Definitely packs a punch at 17% abv this is a sipping beer. Overall very good and letting it warm up really brings out the complex comingling of flavors.

Great Porter.. Nice thick Bourbon brew.. Smokey, boozy, but a blast of chocolate with subtle spices.. Original take on a pumpkin porter ..Abv fucking badass.. 4 stars .. Strong and potent..

Bourbon aroma, roasty porter with a very smooth finish for a 17.22% abv!

Pours dark, minimal head. Huge boozy aroma; alcohol, vanilla. Very sweet, brown sugar, molasses, but not surprising for 17%. Rich, thick mouthfeel, syrupy, lots of vanilla, implying pie spice, some clove. Velvety smooth finish, still sweet, oaky, some cinnamon, like eating a red-hot candy after taking a sip of Jim Beam. Definitely a sipper, expensive at $12 for a 12 oz bottle, but worth buying 1 time a year if you can find it.

Boozy bourbon, baking spices, chocolate/vanilla, banana, pumpkin, it's very good but like a lot of their barrel aged stuff it's wicked hot, needs 2-3 years aging, if they blended it with fresh porter it'd be 5 stars easy
