Smooth bitterness. Drinks more like a pale ale then an IPA, but with less malt character. Resinous aroma gives way to a fruity northwest hop taste.

This one has me rethinking IPA's. Pours a deep hazy orange. First impression of the aroma was "here we go again" with the hops but there was something different. After my first sip I knew what it was...malt! A beautiful floral, citrus, malt flavor saturates the pallet. This is a really well done brew.

A much more malt driven IPA than I've had recently, might like it more in the fall
