Solid wheat, lighter than most. Crisp and slightly bitter.

This beer has a strong citrus and floral smell, lemongrass -- aptly named. It has a nearly clear light straw coloring with no head. It has a refreshing taste or citrus and wheat with a slightly clean but bitter finish that cuts off smoothly. There are notes of lemon rind -- smooth, clean, lemony, and bitter. Overall a solid taste from a small brewery.

Draft, pint
Pours a light hazy straw Color with over a finger of white head. Aroma is pale malt with a bit of what I can only guess is lemongrass. Humph. Faintly faintly lemon, with some wet grass. Flavor is initially sweet and finishes mildly wet. Mouthfeel is very light. Pale malt combines with the lemongrass to showcase some mildly sharp citrusyness, but it's fleeting. It leaves behind a quasi-grassy taste. Almost funky in a way, but not necessarily in a good way. I'm glad I tried it because it's a new/rare release, but I don't find it refreshing and probably wouldn't order it again.
