Aroma was all chocolate and coffee, flavor very smoky and roasty. A tad watery, mouthfeel is creamy. Head was disappointing. As it warmed up, the smoke gave way to a hoppy malty flavor, which was actually an improvement, though not characteristic of the style. If anything, smooth.

Pours very dark. Looks like a cup of coffee. No head at all. Roasted malt on the palate, nice and smooth. Not overpowering. Subtle chocolate finish

Clean rich roasted flavors with a hint of coffee.

Poured very dark. Nice malt thick flavor. Very smooth. Not over powering. Light chocolate finish

I actually enjoyed this porter! It was nutty and smokey, with a nice balance of hops, (something I don't generally care for).

Could hardly drink it. Very watery, almost tastes like a soda. No head what so ever. I even tried pouring a little violently and still could not get a head. Worst porter I have had. Hopefully scuttlebutt can improve this so us Washington folk keep our good beer rep

It's ok alittle watered down for a porter
