jeevanmd - February 13, 2017A little bit too much berry aftertaste for me. But nevertheless enjoyable.
BrewPup - April 28, 2015Light body for a porter. Drinkable. Cocoa finish after intense burnt caramel. Some tasting notes indicate huge head, which I didn't find.
janomac - March 13, 2015Pours dark red-brown with a nice firm head. Thick lacing. Immediate tangy spiciness--almost licorice--up front. Strong notes of coffee and semi-sweet chocolate follow. The alcohol presents as if it were more than the 5.5% ABV declared. Somewhat light body, but a nice, smooth mouthfeel.
The spice-flavor makes this a standout porter.
jimvision - June 24, 2014Top notch porter, and close to home. You gotta have the tangerine version when available in the taproom---best porter ever. Flat 12 is indiana's best brewery period.
