This is very similar to Shipyard XXXX IPA. So close its almost scary. I had higher hopes for this brew based on other brews from Pike's. it's drinkable and enjoyable in its own right. Compared to other DIPA's out there, it can't hold a candle.

Smells of floral honey - wish it tasted as good as it smells... Malty, yeast/biscuit taste, followed by a distinctive bitter finish. Not a big DIPA

Floral scent.good color. Clean and crisp. Hops up front. Subtle bitterness aftertaste

A very good ipa. Picked up at total wine and more in plantation fl. Rated 96 points by beer advocate (I think it was them). Worth every penny of the $5 price tag.

Pours a dark orange with a fluffy kaki colored head. Piney citrus nose. Definite grapefruit pallet with a snuff like aftertaste. Pretty straight forward simple IPA
