sreitsma@charter.net - March 2, 2019Yum. Sweet malt and pecans...with some chocolate notes. High alcohol for a Porter, but just sip it.
bockboy@att.net - October 9, 2017A. Had the 2017 at 9% and it had nutty, caramel, bourbon and vanilla flavors. Sweet, but not cloying. Had the 2021 at 8% and it was a B-. It was in a flight with other similar beers and it did have the pecan and maple with a roasted malt, but somehow not great as before.

Displaced9ersfan - April 4, 2014Good level of smokey ness with a sweet pecan taste. Reminds me of Bavarian style roasted pecans. Very nice porter.
