Nose does not do it justice. Bright hops that lingers shortly into a molasses finish.

Well, another touchdown for Stone. Not surprised. What an awesome friggin brew. Not the best but awesome. Great beer for the IPA lover. A Whole package IPA. 4-1/2 Stars. (Popped a top & enjoyed on tap)

Bottle at Mystic Grill in Covington, GA. Best red IPA out there. Great hops...like Stone do. Paired it with a grilled meatloaf and buttermilk mashed potatoes. Rock solid.

I expected a little more from this offering as Stone has set the bar quite high. BA has this classified as an American amber/ red ale, yet it drinks like an IPA with quite hop-forward characteristics nicely balanced by a malty backbone. Aroma is quite biscuity, crackery, and toffee like. The best Red IPA one can ever consume is probably AleSmith's YuleSmith (Winter), but this is still quite good and pairs well with food.
