This is a great IPA

Citrus note to start with a lemon grassy aroma. Nice bitter tang, but not overpowering

Pricey but worth it

Great piney hops taste and doesn't taste like a 9.5% abv. Absolutely one of my favorite beers out there. Now if they would just drop the damn price. 16$ 4 pack prohibits this being a regular in my fridge. Now they have 16$ 6 packs which is so much better. Having on tap at moment and it is exquisitely awesome. Actually is better on tap so it gets a 6* from me. Had this years (2017) version and it is quite possibly the best beer out there.

Smelled the hops as soon as I started pouring this into the glass. Smell is very grassy and resinous. Taste is dominated by hops. There is a nice malt backbone. This is really good. It's very similar to Lagunitas Sucks.

Very hoppy with a sweet malt backbone. The finish on this one is pleasantly bitter and the 9.5 ABV was well masked. Very good, but wonder how a fresher bottle would taste- drank mine 3/2/13 and was bottled on 12/11/12.

02MAR13, Flying Saucer, San Antonio, TX Draft, snifter Big citrus nose and slightly grassy. Clear amber color. Initially really good hop sweetness, but huge bitterness overtakes. Good, but too much.
