PhilTheBeerKill - August 2, 2015Poured from can. Semi aggressive pour yielded nice thick foam. Remains stable for minutes.
Sweet malts dominating the smell. Similar to Ballantines IPA or Yards IPA. Taste is dominated by sweet malts. Only in the third taste and aftertaste, there is some hoppy bitterness. No fruity or citrusy hops AT ALL. If at all, earthy hops. If you like citrusy, crisp hoppy IPAs, like Southern Tier Live, All Day IPA or the Rivertowne Jah Mon, stay away from this one. It plays in a much maltier class, but is significantly less complex and less enjoyable than Ballantines IPA, for example.
