A-. Aroma and flavor of sherry and still had the caramel/toffee smoothness.

My bottle shows 14.1 ABV and barrel aged. Modest, foamy head. Cloudy nut-brown color. Modestly hopped and totally amped with malt. Yum.

Good backup for Old Curmudgeon Ale.

Very cool beer. First sip is definitely a wow moment. This is a slow drinker. And careful with the abv, it's sneaky! Guy at Gentile's said its a great beer for cellaring

Interesting. Deep ruby amber, minimal head. Sweet caramel and toffee, deep rich full bodied beer. Good beer to end the night with. Watch out for the 11.9% ABV...

Very strong ale, bready and malty but crisp and clean. Quite boozy, sipper. Good overall. Bottle, Sept 2013.

A little sweet and very boozy, but very tasty. Reminds me of an abbey ale.

So good. Boozy, complex, barrelly, and sweet. Looking forward to adding this to my yearly must-have list.
