jaywill1323 - January 17, 2015Called the 'naughty quaker' this oatmeal stout is one of the best abita beers I've had.
Dark mahogany in color with a very slim khaki head. Aromas of coffee sweet malt and oats. Medium body has a nice carbonation and coffee dark chocolate flavors. Has the 'chewy' roasted character of an oatmeal stout. Notes of smoked wood and faintly earthy tones. Somewhat silky bittersweet chocolate finish. Never seen a six pack but I would buy one. Very enjoyable
timothy.w.harford@gmail.com - November 29, 2014Draft. Fairly carbonated for a stout. Medium bodied. Coffee, smokey flavor with bitter coffee and slight dark chocolate finish. Notes of burnt wood and faintly earthy tones.
