A strange tripel. First thing you notice is no head. And very low carbonation. Looks like cider and tastes a tad like it too. No yeast. Medium plus body. More than a tinge of Belgian Abbey ale. How this is labeled a tripel I dont know, and labelling it as such just leads to disappointment when drunk. Call it a Belgian ale or Abbey ale and you know what youre getting.

9.0% ABV. Draft drawn into a snifter. Most unique appearance I've ever seen. Cloudy, opaque, dark apricot color. Minimal head, light lacing. Complex nose of banana, ripe fall fruits - pears and apples. Taste has a sweet, malty backbone with notes of autumn fruits, ripe banana and a hint of fall spices. Silky mouthfeel, sweet finish. Wonderful brew.
