Outa the can the best thing about this brew is the nut jokes. No actual nuts were harmed (or used) in the making of this ale and it shows. Hey, Santa Fe Brewmaster, get a hold of a Southern Pecan Ale by Mississippi?s Lazy Magnolia Brewery and you?d probably decide to use some New Mexican Pecans to make a better and real nut ale. It has a more malted than nut taste and it?s more hoppy than malted and nowhere near as smooth as Southern Pecan. No I don?t have any financial interest in Lazy Magnolia. In fact I?d love to see others compete with their Pecans. Do it!

Delicious. Smooth and chocolatey like a stout but not a full meal.

Don't care much for this out of the bottle, but love it when it's on tap.
