This is a nice stout, nitro injection aside. Heavier mouthfeel than many (most) Irish stouts. Sweet without being candied, malty without tasting burnt, and smooth. The nitro injection made the foaming bubbles smaller, but the head was rather small and short-lived. This stout has a short shelf life according to the best used by printed on the can. Too bad; since it would be nice to see how it aged. Maybe it has to do with the nitrogen injector device in the bottom of the can.

Had on draft at Nick's 114 Cafe in New Cumberland, PA during Harrisburg Beer Week. It was quite smooth and tasty. I would definitely have it again

Smooth bold taste , perfect amount of coffee hint to it, and it leaves you with a great after taste unlike other stouts I've had that leave you with bitterness after taste

Brand new beer from sam adams.
Mahogany in color with a thick creamy head about 2 fingers worth that very slowly dissipates. Has a sticky chocolatey aromas. Surprisingly thin and watery the beer has a sweetness to it with a coffee finish. It is ok but Guinness is much better.

Weak and watery.

A little sweet, smooth and smokey. The hops gives this beer a nice balance and is perfect for a hearty meal.
