aaf145 - July 17, 2016I am absolutely stunned.. Best American imperial/double stout I've ever had PERIOD!!!!!....might actually be my favorite beer of all time and i have over 2k in my beer cellar.. Enormous 11.5 abv... Vanilla, chocolate notes, sweetness, huge coffee notes.. No bite or booziness ... This is unreal, I feel like I'm dreaming..5 stars!!!! Easily after 1 sip....
davl22 - April 19, 2015Beatriz coffee version, dark and viscous, aromas of chocolate, vanilla, coffee, and sherry. Flavors of charred wood, old coffee, almost has a barrel aged quality. Not super coffee forward, more subtle. Although it was tasty I've been a little disappointed with their dark offerings. Even after less than a month of bottling I get a good amount of oxidation and stale flavors.
***Monsooned malabar batch- decadent, liquid coffee gelato, an enormous step above the past batches, love it!
