A very dark reddish brown. Strong roasted nut flavor with a hint of sweetness. This is somewhat reminiscent of a schwarzbier but with a stronger flavor profile. This is a good beer and a bit different.

Mweh. Chocolate malt taste but kinda thin, hops not impressive. Just ok. Bottle, January 2014.

First thing I noticed is coffee nose. Smells like a dark roast. Tastes like an alcoholic Americano. Very smooth. Slight dark chocolate halfway through sip that becomes more prominent as drinking.

Strong nutty start and smooth chocolate finish while sustaining the good ole Newcastle Brown Ale taste. God save the Queen!
