prhubbard - December 3, 2014I remember - vaguely remember - getting loaded in the pretty little village of Neustadt when I was a lot younger. Back then beer was beer and cheap too but not necessarily good. It was simply user friendly suds at a local pub. The Neustadt brewery hadn't opened yet - that was another 15 years away - so indulging in real craft brew wasn't really possible. Now however the brews in Neus are very good and this Scottish ale is I think their best. Quite tasty, malty, and of good colour, I'm thrilled it's available in cans at the LCBO.
