Pours opaque dark chocolate color with thick dark tan head. Light chocolate aroma. Thick full feel strong flavor with hints of chocolate and coffee. bitterness that lingers.

Red wine nose. At first the flavor doesn't know where to go, it's an interesting mix of roasty malt and a smoky almost red wine flavor to go along with the aroma.

1-12-2017. Ok but nothing great. I love stout's but this isn't one I love. I don't know if this a bourbon barrel aged beer but it has that type of flavor - which I don't care for.
