A: Straw to gold with 2" head retention for a couple of minutes then dissipates to very thin layer on top A: Sweet smells of honey and slightly toasted grain. A bit of a fruitiness on the nose as well T: Very sweet. Honey Nut Cheerios in a glass. The fruitiness is of slight canto loupe character. Toasted bread. As the beer warmed up a bit, the grains really began to shine through M: Quite heavy with not a lot of carbonation A: The sweetness really stays with you Food Pairing: I enjoyed this brew with spicy California roll sushi and they worked very well together. The sweetness and heaviness of the beer kept the spiciness from the sauce and wasabi at bay. I could see this working nicely with a walleye or other seafood dishes
