Cream, cream and more cream from this extra dark stout, the chocolate notes are extra smooth with a buttery finish followed by a full fat creamy feeling on the palette. The chocolate while smooth and buttery are quite subtle and not something i'd call a double chocolate. Cranberry is negligible at best only presenting in the aroma as a hint.

A bit weak on chocolate flavour for a double chocolate stout, and really not getting any cranberry. All in all though, a decent stout.

Deep black color, rich coffee notes with a hint of cocoa. Not much cranberry flavor

Pours a very dark brown with a thin mocha head with moderate retention and negligible lace. On the nose, I get coffee and bittersweet cranberries alongside dark fruit, raisins, and figs. Flavorwise, it is very sweet up front with the infused chocolate being rather obvious, though the hops provides a fairly drying finish - but not enough to call it balanced. On the tongue it is fairly full-bodied and sticky, yet simultaneously prickly. Good, but not great as an imperial stout, good but not great as a dessert stout.
