bockboy@att.net - April 23, 2016A-. Light IPA with a complex hop aroma and flavor of citrus, tropical fruit and pine. They list grapefruit and I think so too.
Beerguy33 - September 18, 20159/18/15 - 12oz bottle into a Bootleggers Tulip glass. Pours a golden, light orange color but with good clarity. Small 1/2" quickly dissipating head, with great lacing. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Aroma is grapefruit, orange, spices pine hops and maybe mango. Taste follows the nose with perhaps the addition of a mild malt flavor. The hop bitterness is present but surprisingly subdued for a beer with 45 IBU's. Smooth, crisp, light and refreshing and highly drinkable, this is an outstanding effort from Strauss. This could become one of my "go to" beers. Excellent beer!
