11/24/15 - Skunkiness was overwhelming As soon as I popped the cap. One of my favorites back in the day, haven't had one in 20 years so I decided to revisit. Pours a straw yellow with excellent clarity and heavy carbonation. Very little head that disappears quick and leaves some lacing. Aroma is so heavily skunked it's hard to pick up anything else; maybe some grass, grains and corn, but that's about it. Mouthfeel is light and the taste is bready with a slight hop bitter finish but not much else. The Skunkiness in the aroma isn't really detectable in the taste. Not a terrible beer but there are better options. Still, it's preferable to Bud, Miller or Coors. The taste isn't bad...its just bland. But the skunk smell is really off putting. I probably wouldn't have it again only because there are better beers available.

Good beer - clean finish

Uninspired. Ok for undiscrimating lawn lawn chair guzzling. Kinda like good quality beige paint. Ha!

Even my Canadian friend doesn't like it.

Always a good option. Tastes fine in bottle or can. Serve extra cold for best results. Good beer for the price.

A good, solid everyday beer. Mild bitterness gives way to a clean, dry finish.

Old school lager with malty flavor. Seems benign in today's craft brew world, but it stood out against the old mass-market brews.

It's bitter

Has that "skunkiness" thing that Canadian lagers are known for. Not quite up there with Molson's for overall quality, but close. It's a good smooth drinking beer.
