MonicaAJC - November 10, 2015November 2015. A really interesting Belgian style Tripel, with a definite American twist--in a good way. It would almost make a nice winter session beer, except for the fact it's 9% ABV! (the alcohol flavor is not front-and-center--a bit sneaky). It's pretty drinkable, with nice carbonation. Banana, candy syrup and clove--aroma and taste. Balanced by black pepper and a light grass tang at the finish. Some are saying melon. But I can't find that. Not too sweet. I might not seek it, but would absolutely drink it again if offered! Besides, what a great name!
