Grapefruit, piney IPA.

Bitter. Crisp. Fresh.

Fruity citrus hop, sweet malt body - very nice!

Vanilla, grapefruit, caramel, and mango on the nose. Hop forward grapefruit and slightly unripe pineapple on the palette. Smooth bitterness with a crisp burnt sugar finish. A little candy pineapple on the long finish. Good for an IPA but not as poppy as I prefer for an 8.5. Tasty nonetheless.

Too be honest, I am not sure that I gave this beer a fair shake. Was purchased online and drank with friends during a session that included Pliny, Dreadnaught, Alpine Nelson, Zombie Dust, Arctic Panzer and Ninja vs Unicorn. This was the last beer of the session and we were all feeling no pain and our palates were wrecked. However, this really did not stand out and I was left feeling that this is just a really good IPA but not something I would classify as great like the IPA s I had had before it. Would I drink it again? No doubt about it. Would I search for it? Doubtful. Quality nonetheless

Sharp spikes of acrid hops lead into a virus peel body. Finishes clean with slinger of pine.

Was ok, nothing super, made my throat feel like choking with each sip. Felt too carbonated, too hoppy, almost thin, not interested in more.
