Back again @ Moan & Dove, and this is the good taste I remembered (and did not get @ McLadden's). Starts off hoppy, finishes smooth w/ hint of a saison? A good beer for a lowering afternoon so close to the winter solstice.

Very well balanced dark amber APA, not too bitter or hoppy with a subtle bite, a nice effervescence and a sweet malty flavor. Sophisticated, I felt like I was drinking wine. Very good.

First had MO @ Moan & Dove; then at McLadden's. Tasted better the first time. Lots of citrus, not light, and not too hoppy.

Hazy golden in color with white frothy head and fresh sweet citrus and tangerine aromas. Super smooth and balanced an awesome pale ale with soft citrus notes of grapefruit lemon and tangerine with a lingering subtle bitter bite. perfect mouthfeel and balance. A super smooth mouthfeel another big hit from Maine.

Soft light citrus, like tangerine, perfect mouthfeel and balance. One of the best pale ales I've had yet. Bottle, November 2013.

Slightly bitter finish. No specific high notes. Good but not a lot of flavors

Excellent pale ale. Hopper than Peeper, and more flavorful in my opinion.

Just the absolutely perfect American Pale Ale! Amazing! A big refreshing bite of fresh hops balanced with a delicious malt backbone...hard to conceive of a more perfectly harmonious brew!
