Rather sweet and mild Porter with oats and chocolate malt. Fresh ginger too, but it is thankfully sublte .

On cask. Not much head. Nose of roasted nuts. Strong porter taste right up front and it lingers. Strong roasted nut taste; tastes like an extra strong Guinness with a bit of black licorice. Out of the bottle of the bottle I wouldn't drink this, it's ok on cask but very strong; a winter beer for sure.
