Looks like a porter, but tastes quite sour. The hint of mesquite is there, but it's not complementary to the sourness.

An interesting brew. Poured with a massive head which took about 10 minutes to dissipate. Taste has some similarities to a Belgian dark and slight sour notes. I'm good with the amount of smoke flavor present. I just don't think it works well with the Belgian flavor traits. Glad to have tried this....but won't be in a hurry to get it again. It's not bad - just not what it says it is. It really pales in comparison to something like Alaskan smoked porter.

Really enjoyed this Porter!
Nice full bodied flavour, with a subtle mesquite smokey after taste. Delicious!!

Had at Galveston festival. Less smokey than Guiness

Too smokey (and I like smokey). Seems like they were trying too hard to make a point. No other body or good porter flavor.

Great drink while sitting by the fireside.
