A little hoppy for a red

Slightly bitter, spicy clove finish; different surprising brew

Light foamy head. Rich copper color. Malty and caramel nose. Toasted malts with a nice hoppy taste for a red. Thin but smooth mouthfeel. Bitter finish. Pretty decent

C. Thin compared to Heretic's Imperial Red, which I rated at a B. Both are very hoppy.

Incredible floral nose. Great spicy flavor.

Amber color, slightly cloudy with minimum head. An unexpected floral aroma. More hops than one would expect from a red ale although it's not overpowering. Balanced by toasty malts with a bitter finish. The bottle label states "rich chocolaty finish with hints of clove and caramel." Sounds enticing but my palate does not detect these flavors.
