svenllr - August 14, 2013A nice foam head appears after filling your glass with this bitter imperial red. Hold your glass high and close to a bright light to catch the red because this is really all an American Ale which isn't a bad thing. The IBU is high at 80 which is easily noticed upon each sip but the 8% ABV helps tone it down. I've had better beers and while I wouldn't turn this beer down if offered to me, I probably will put my hard earned cash toward a better craft beer.
