B-. Not very balanced, the vanilla overwhelms everything and sweet. Tastes good for a dessert beer, but not my idea of a Barleywine.

A bit sweet and sticky, but that offers a nice balance to the alcohol notes. Bourbon barrel, brown sugar, and of course vanilla throughout. A smooth, frighteningly drinkable beer. But do not expect a traditional barleywine. This kid is a uniquely Bruery ale!!

Generally not a fan of vanilla but thankfully it's quite subtle on the palate as the back end finishes nicely with oaky and bourbon characteristics. Excellent barley wine

Strong tasting and a very nice vanilla flavor. Gets better add it warms up.
