DaveyBoySwagg - October 4, 2013This beer is incredible. Pours a bright orange from the tap to a thin white head that recedes rather quickly. Smell: fruity, tropical hops. Taste: wow! Really beats the smell. Starts with slight orange citrus rind, then enters this MANGO EXPLOSION. This is one of the most "tropical IPAs" I've ever had! Finishes with a noticeable bitterness and an ever-so-slight booziness that is detectable only upon reading what the ABV is on the tap list (booze is hidden very well). Mouthfeel is neither full nor thin...just right for a DIPA. Overall: this actually reminded me of Pliney the Younger. That being said, this is an incredible beer from a brewery that I didn't expect had a beer like this in them. Right on, Port City. Right on.
