Rockhopper - February 10, 2019Oh my this is a perfect Imperial Stout. Luscious is right. Pours black with rich mahagony head. Dissipate quickly otherwise this would be perfect. But good lacing and creaminess. Feels terrific. Satiny will adequate carbonation. Little smoky aromywith molasses and berries. Flavor is robust, sweet, and lightly smoky with notes of horehound, prune, leather, and bacon. Coffee and chocolate in a sweet middle, and little bitter hit at the end. Fine stuff. Purchased at the Alchemist Stowe.
