Not one of their better beers. Just an ok ale.

Strong and intense aroma, on the positive side there is a noticeable bouquet of green tea, which obviously influenced the name of the beer, and also has a pleasant hoppy aroma with hints of pine, resin, and an undercurrent of bubblegum. On the flip side, it has a strong skunky odor which mixes with the more pleasant notes. It has an extremely clear and clean, light yellow coloring, about the color or straw, with very little head. Very crisp taste, light and bright, but not nearly as flavorful as it's bouquet. Reminds me more of an aromatic lager than a session ale. There's just the faintest touch of green tea in the flavor and perhaps the slightest taste of hops on the finish. Just a hint of bitterness to add a bit of complexity to the beer. Overall, it's crisp and clean, not bad, but it does not have enough flavor for my taste and it's funky aroma knocks it down a notch for me.

Very refreshing on a hot day, this session ale has sweet herbal notes with a slight edge of hops. I don't like tremendously bitter beers, and this one finds a very good balance and has a lot of depth in its flavor profile.
