Nice smooth fizzy tripel

Mild aroma of citrus and grape with a touch of honey. Sweet and effervescent with a moderate spice of clove and a bit of coriander. Lingering easy finish with a touch of hop. Exceptionally smooth and balanced.
longhornjoe - March 12, 2013
dry, champagne-like

Light. Crisp. Not soapy. Clear.

A: golden in color. 2 fingers of foam. Slightly cloudy.
T; crisp and almost floral perfume like. Usual Belgian ale "funk". . Light and crisp.
S: full smell. Semi floral.
M: light on the tongue and well carbonated.
O: good beer. Not my favorite boulevard. Would be good summer beer. I must not be a fan of Belgian style ales.

Great tripel

I am not yet a huge fan of Belgian beers, but this was excellent and the price was great at about $9 for a 750.

One of my favorite brewers. Not my favorite tripel though.

On second tasting. The taste comes out with warmth. Nice sour and orange flavor.

Very very smooth. Can't taste the alcohol. Good beer but not a ton of flavor.
