I'm not a huge fan of reds, but I went ahead and gave it a try. I was in NH and I like to try novelty beers sometimes. For a red, it actually wasn't bad. A little sweet, and perhaps just a touch of briny finish. Overall, I have no complaints.

Lobster brine brings a salty finish to an otherwise decent red ale but it is good with fish and chips

Good malt and hop flavor, worth trying but nothing above and beyond about it

Has that green apple thing that means beer is bad

Not bad! Smoother than I remember from a couple of years ago. Or maybe I've learned to appreciate different beer more?

Bitter finish detracts from an otherwise decent beer. Not my favorite, but I didn't hate it.
