Nice smooth with slight hops taste

Earthy hop flavor dominates but bitterness is restrained throughout as a melon-like impression fades into an aftertaste lacking malt assertiveness along the way.

Another great Lagunitas IPA. Nice copper color. Hoppy.

So good. One of my faves

Strong hop pine flavor, bitter like it should be but smooth and nicely drinkable. 8.5% ABV doesn't add to the bite but will sneak up on you.

Pleasant IPA for sipping. Doesn't taste like 8.5%

Finally picked this up (it's usually sold out) and had it for the first time. Fantastic! Wild is still the best one to me though outta the 3 Sumpins. This is probably 2nd but you cannot go wrong with any of 'em

Huge hop aroma, really big, hoppy DIPA. Great malt body, sweet. Growler 9/22/15

Rich. Citrus. Hearty. Reminds me of toasted hazelnuts.

12 oz. bottle pour into a pint glass. Appears as hazy light golden with a fluffy white 3 finger head that turns to rocky. Smells of citrus and pine, tastes nice and hoppy laced with grapefruit and a quick, strong punch to the mouth. 2nd taste is muted but the hops and citrus shines through. Great mouthfeel...bite but not hard or hot. It fills the mouth with a taste that hangs on with a bit of malty syrup. I can detect the 8.5% alc. Lace stays long after the beer is gone. Great tasting IIPA that lives up to the double IPA title without tasting like I'm eating ragweed.
