Thought I would love this one, but not a fan. Very sweet and cloying. Not sour enough to balance out the strong date taste. Almost a "dessert beer."

This one stumped me at first. Comes off as a strong Belgian ale, then after letting it sit on my tongue for a moment the sour cherries came through. The chocolate and dates finish really is faint but I think it was perfect. For not knowing what I was dealing with at first, I really enjoyed this one!! Kudos to New Belgium

Sour Belgian style beer. Coffee flavors but also sour

Never had this style before and I can't quite put my finger on it bit I dig. It's mildly sweet and mildly bitter.. Even hovering on the sour side.

Sweetish, very flavorful ale. Slightly better than Ommegang abbey ale.

The cherries do stand out and has an after taste of dates

Hazelnut and coffee on the nose with a hint of cherry rhubarb pie. Sweet pomegranate, tart black cherry, and dates on the palate. Creme brûlée burnt skin on the finish.

Was it a fan when I first tasted but after warming up it was real good

Slightly reminiscent of malt liquor (think Olde English or King Cobra). New Belgium can definitely do much better than this.
