uffda_32 - April 10, 2014Whew! Definitely sour... Feels like I ate a whole box is Sour Patch Kids candy.
bugs318 - November 24, 2013Pours a mahogany-tinged dark brown capped by a foamy tan head of slight retention and lace. Nose wafts balsamic vinegar tartness alongside some leathery-yeasty funk, coupled with some musty woody funk notes. Taste starts with a sort of lightly malty soy sauce resemblance before the sour comes in on the back of the tongue/top of the throat. At this point it becomes puckeringly sour, yet the lengthy longer evolves again into a wet wood. This is a damn complex sour and a damn good one! The carbonation is sharp when sought but muted by the bold flavours, coupled with a medium body. A fine Saturday night treat!
