jaywill1323 - March 7, 2015Hazy orange to Amber in color with a foamy 2 fingers of head. Aromas of citrus, pine, and tropical fruit. Nice smells without being overpowering. Very balanced this has a velvety medium body mouthfeel with tropical fruit and drying hops at the forward, a malty body, and dry hop finish. Very enjoyable with a hoppy bitter finish. Very clean crisp refreshing and balanced. Not sure what makes it a 'winter' beer but still very good.
andybrownback@gmail.com - February 1, 2015Spicey, hoppy aroma. Nice body with good malt character. Strong, but not overwhelming hop presence. Heavy beer, overall, with plenty of sweetness. Really quite good. Reminds me of Alpine beer, which is a very good thing.
davl22 - February 24, 2013Could smell it before I even poured it into the glass, crazy citrus/pine/tropical fruit hops up front, dark caramel malt, velvety mouthfeel, essentially a bigger, maltier Lunch, great beer
va_jim - February 24, 2013The nose is citrusy and nice, but I don't get it taste-wise. I can't describe it. Kind of bland. Wish I had a Peeper Ale instead.
