Hard to describe. Malty and hoppy at the same time

Awesome! Very caramel like- loved it!!! Definitely more of an American style, not over hoppy but well balanced. Tons of flavor. Can't wait for my next one

Average ipa little caramel taste

Nice rich amber color. Fruity nose. First taste wasn't different. Very balanced and easy to drink for an IIPA. Nice hop balance. Some caramel and burnt sugar comes through too. Nice malty backbone with some additional bitterness on the finish. Pretty darn good.

Really good well balanced IPA. Has different hop character from the different regions of hops used

My first impression was underwhelming. Particularly on the nose. First taste wasn't much different. But it grew on me quickly. The carbonation is pretty heavy which I don't generally prefer in a high ABV IPA. But after a few sips, I realized how balanced it was and how easy it was to drink. Nice hop balance. Nothing too forward. Some caramel and burnt sugar typical of dogfish. Nice malty backbone with some additional bitterness on the finish. Pretty darn good but definitely too pricy. I have bought beers as expensive as this and thought I got my money's worth and more. This is simply not outstanding enough to demand it's price. Would be a good beer at about $.25 less per ounce.

Very crisp, traditional ipa. Not a hop heavy brew. Nice smooth drink. Will not wreck your pallet. Descent brew.

Had higher hopes. Good beer, but too much money.

This is a great IPA. It is much more traditional which is why people are complaining about it. It's not a huge hop bomb; it's closer to an EIPA. Very enjoyable with a nice malt backbone. I highly recommend this.
