A dark pour with a nice head of foam. The beginning is pretty strong but not overpowering. A winy flavor, you can taste the alcohol. The finish is citrusy and full of flavor. Overall this was a very good Belgian!

Color: deep brown, hazy, big lasting tan head Nose: bready, slight chocolate Flavor: bready malt with a hint of sour, fruity, no hops, lots of co2 Overall: nice cross b/t Belgian and German. This bottle is about 3 yrs old and has held up very well.

COLOUR: coppery (reddish orange) HEAD: some head retention LACING: lots SMELL: light but present grains TASTE: well-balanced, earthy, slightly sweet, hops, but not overpoweringly so. MOUTH FEEL: creamy, tiny amount of carbonation (leaves a pleasant texture) FINISH: lightly bitter finish, BTW: very little sediment
