Bought this on vacation in Gulf Shores. Discovered that it was bottled 8/2012, it is October 2014. It is a shame because the store carries some cool crafts. Check bottle dates.
I would say for a pale ale this was disappointing. Had a clove aroma and taste. I don't think I would get this one again. I can see how it would pair with some foods, but it is not a kickback and drink beer.

Not a standout but still a good drinking beer. I do not want to sell it short. A little spice to it. Decent hops. You won't be disappointed.

Mediocre English pale ale

Pours a decent head with lots of lacing. A copper colored beer. Has a malty, earthy flavor with a bit of a bitter finish. I've heard it's better paired with food than a stand alone beer.

Good fall beer. Notes of Cinnamon/clove

Not sure what it is. Spicy or astringent. Highly carbonated mouth feel. Like going to the dentist. Medicine tasting. I can't figure it out. Not good, not bad . . . Weird
