doctor_throb - January 12, 2015An interesting amalgamation of styles. Fruity, medium body, nice aroma.
Geo Dude - January 7, 2015Poured from a can into a tulip:
Pours with a moderately thick, light tan head that quickly dissipates, leaving behind some decent lacing. The color of the beer is an attractive, rusty dark Amber color. The nose is primarily fruity with a bit of a musty smell, and smells suspiciously like an American brown ale.
The taste is a combination of fruit, and some rather sour malts, a bit of hops, and a poorly disguised alcoholic bite. Almost bourbon-esque, or like a mediocre barleywine. Rather unpleasant, unfortunately. On the other hand, it is reasonably thick on the tongue, and pretty filling. Not recommended.
