Reasonably balanced red/brown ale with only maybe three tongue snaps to clear the hop bitters. Having it with Crab Cakes at the Kona brewery restaurant in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.

Has the complication of a red but struggling to pull it off for me. Again as other of this companies brews, it has uniqueness and character. But it is a start with out a finish. It is week on the finish that should represent a ref.

Little hoppy but mild enough for my tastes. Great color and body. On keg produces a nice head. Try one, you'll like it.
