Bottled in Iceland. Strong stout smell on pour. Nice smooth Stout: not too boozy but good flavor. Warm in belly.

Has a smoked fish taste.

Big smokey taste without being overpowering. Black with a very thin tan head. Fire pit aroma. Tastes of smoke and
dark chocolate. Mild hoppiness in the finish. Sticky sweetness, bold smokiness. Surprisingly well balanced and drinkable. Nice beer!

On tap at Torst. Mild smoke, not too sweet. Very tasty.

Pours an opaque jet black with no head and little to no carbonation. Viscous like motor oil. Aromas of peat/charcoal smoke and rich chocolate. This beer is very interesting and super drinkable as far as smoked beers go. Flavors of strong bittersweet dark chocolate balanced by smoke and deeply roasted malt like it was charred over a low fire. A dark chocolate bite and charred ash (like black volcanic sea salt) at the finish. Undertones of a moderate earthy hoppiness keeps the beer from being too sweet. Full bodied and warming from the high abv
The smokiness complements the beer instead of overwhelming it like other ones.
Very tasty and a rarity in nj.

Tasty, full bodied. Not as full bodied as many stouts, and with a hint of smoke

A little bitter

Pours black. Dark chocolate and smoke on the nose. Tastes like dark chocolate, smoke and burnt toast. Earthy. Good mouthfeel. Low carbonation. Paired well with ham and bean soup.
